Amber Cardinalli DO

Dr Cardinalli comes to us with over a decade of experience in Internal, Integrative and Functional Medicine. She feels particularly drawn to supporting people with hormone imbalances, cardiometabolic and weight concerns, and digestive distress such as bloating, constipation, and diarrhea (IBS).

Dr. Amber Cardinalli is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine. Originally from the East Coast, she completed her residency and fellowship training in Philadelphia before recently relocating to the beautiful Hood River area.

Dr. Cardinalli began her career as a hospital-based physician, caring for patients through complex medical challenges. Over time, she was drawn to a more comprehensive and preventive approach to health—one that looks beyond symptoms to address the root causes of illness. She later transitioned to an office-based practice focused on integrative and functional medicine, where she continues to help patients build lasting wellness.

She believes her role as a physician is to guide patients through shared decision-making, ensuring they retain autonomy while receiving clear, evidence-based information to support their goals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Cardinalli enjoys creating new recipes in the kitchen, exploring the outdoors with her husband and their dog, Greta, hiking through the forest, and reading
