COVID Vaccine Information

If You Have Symptoms of COVID:

If you are symptomatic but you test negative for COVID19 – Please take precautions: isolate yourself, and consider your community.  No test is perfect. Public health matters. The Delta variant has proven highly transmissible.

COVID Testing:

We strongly support and encourage our patients to get vaccinated against COVID19. We now offer Covid19 testing in our clinic. Please call us at 541-716-5786 to schedule an appointment for your COVID test.

COVID Vaccine Boosters:

We are strong proponents of the COVID booster for most of our clients. We conducted three booster clinics this fall/winter in our clinic but at this time do not plan to administer any additional boosters. We encourage all eligible individuals to schedule a booster appointment at your local pharmacy or other convenient location. This latest Omicron variant seems to be very transmissible, and the vaccine appears to continue to provide protection by decreasing transmissibility and increasing immune defense against severe disease, hospitalization and death. If it has been more than 6 months since your mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or 2 months since J&J, you are eligible. See https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.html for more info.

COVID Vaccine Exemptions:

There are very specific medical criteria for a vaccine exemption. We cannot exempt anyone from the vaccine mandates unless they meet these requirements. If you do not have a medical condition that puts you at risk for problems from the vaccine, we again encourage you to get vaccinated with whichever vaccine you can access in your community. In the Gorge, the county public health departments and most pharmacies are giving vaccines on a daily basis. Please call us if you have questions.
